Share the pain. Be an angel to an angel
Menstruation is a painful time in a woman’s life, isn’t it? It doesn’t help that it occurs every month.
But for a lot of women in India that pain is much bigger than we will ever experience.
88% of India’s 355 million menstruating women don’t use sanitary napkins. Instead they resort to shocking alternatives like unsanitised cloth, ashes and husk sand. This makes the menstruation phase extremely uncomfortable. What’s worse, the bad hygiene leads to infection, diseases and sometime even death.
Most of these women can’t afford sanitary napkins. Sadly, they are not even aware of their health risk they are at.
Only an angel can make a difference to their lives. An angel like you.
